I.do Workshop Hong Kong

Aging in China 2020

Since 2005 the I.do Workshop, hosted by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, annually invites students and tutors from different institutions around the world to work on social and cultural topics in intercultural and multidisciplinary teams. In 2010 I got the chance to participate, working on the topic of needs and demands due to demographic changes of aging in southeast China.

While working on the respective topic is an issue, the workshop also provides a quite unique learning experience in mixed teams, encouraging international exchange of design methods, networking with designers from different origins and perspectives and researching within foreign environments.
